Clothes to be yourself in. Fairly made and of good quality. At MINGO we think it is important that children can play, clamber or relax. Just being a child. And this is best done in an outfit that is comfortable and can withstand a blow.
Originated from a desire to do things differently
Stylish, easy to combine, unisex and high quality enough to be passed on from generation to generation. And if possible: from organic or recycled fabrics and materials. MINGO was created to do things differently. We are not do-gooders, but we do want to leave it as good as possible for the generations that come after us.
Sustainability: very logical for us
We work with organic fabrics and recycled material as much as possible. This also applies to our labels, packaging and shipping bags. MINGO stands for
collections that you can combine with each other. Items you pass on to brothers,
sisters, family and friends. Moreover, we have set ourselves the goal of only working with organic and recycled material in the future.
Designed in Rotterdam, made in Portugal. Our clothing is produced in Portugal in sewing workshops that we have selected ourselves. Authentic family businesses, each with their own specialty and run by brothers, sisters, cousins. This means European production, little environmental pollution and of course no child labor. MINGO is characterized by unique items of different textures in special
shades. Soft jersey, cotton, linen, flannel or muslin; fine materials of the
very best quality. And we use that to make garments that we know for sure: a child will never want to take this off.
